What Else Can You Do in the Algarve During Your Stay at Our Retreat?

Our mornings at the retreat are dedicated to yoga practice, workshops, and tools that we provide to help you not only relax but also connect with yourself on a deeper level.

The afternoons are more flexible, and in addition to the option of enjoying a relaxing massage or doing bonding activities with your child, there are also incredible opportunities for those who wish to explore this beautiful region further.

Here are some suggestions:

1.Visit the Fisherman Village of Carvoeiro

Explore the charming village of Carvoeiro, originally a small fishing village that has retained much of its traditional charm despite its popularity as a tourist destination. Stroll through its narrow streets, enjoy the colourful houses, and experience the local culture. The village square and surrounding areas are lined with cafes, shops, and restaurants where you can enjoy local delicacies or simply relax with a coffee while taking in the atmosphere.

2. Take a Boat Tour to Benagil Cave

From Carvoeiro, embark on a boat tour to the famous Benagil Cave. This natural wonder is known for its skylight, which illuminates the interior with a magical glow. The tour often includes visits to other nearby caves and secluded beaches, providing a unique perspective of the Algarve’s stunning coastline.

3.Stroller Walk Along the Carvoeiro Boardwalk

Take a leisurely walk along the Carvoeiro Boardwalk, a scenic wooden path that winds along the cliffs, offering panoramic views of the coastline. This short but stunning walk is perfect for enjoying the fresh sea breeze and capturing beautiful photographs. There are benches along the way where you can sit and take in the views, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful afternoon stroll.

Attending our retreat is already a reason in itself to come to Portugal, but if you still need more reasons, there are plenty of beautiful places and beaches to visit here! :)
